NFPA - Meeting April 18, 2025

I was contacted by NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) to attend their annual meeting in Las Vegas to discuss my NITMAM. He stated that I could have a chance to change the committee's mind to include it in the new code. After giving it a few days to think about it, I sent him an email that I would not attend since my suggestion would be considered an instruction on wiring and not a code requirement.

You have the option of designating a person to speak on your behalf, recruiting someone.
But in this case your idea does not appear to meet the criteria for a NITMAM, but could be held until the start of the next code cycle, and submitted as a Public Comment.

You can also submit a diagram to better illustrate what a bad and good circuit look like, and how your strip might help.
