I registered on the NFPA website quite a while ago. I got something in the mail, also quite a while ago. And today I got a Fire Prevention Week catalog.

It seems they know your M.O. - as in 'fire prevention' books...catch the hint

Did you receive your card? which has your ID number so you can access the 'Members' section.

Well I got an ID no. But they didn't get no $135.00 so I guess it's just a junk mail responce code.

For a minute I thought I might have been somebody but I guess I'm not.

Sam, now that you are on the list you just may get one or two mailings from the NFPA.


By the way, now might be a good time to go out and get a bigger trash barrel.

Well it's been probably at least 8 months so I don't suppose I'll need the bigger trash can, or more effective junk mail terminator, bigger fire place. It's not like I'm getting buried in this stuff.

If I'll actually be more important maybe I should cough up the $135.00.
