~Autocorrect is My Worst Enema.~
have a transformer supplying a 225A panel.

primary voltage is 480 3ph.

secondary voltage is 575 3 ph.

equipment being served by the panel is a blancher,
a large one, purchased used from a canadian firm, eh.
relocated to the left coast, land of fruits and nuts.

now, from before the dawn of time, i remember a rule
about 3 phase delta loads that do not have a center tapped
winding must have one of the phases grounded. is this correct?

thanks for any insight....

The code does not require that a 575 volt delta secondary be grounded. You are permitted to ground it, and if you don't ground it, a ground fault alarm will be required. 250.20, 250.21
