nipple fill with LB

I have an installation where between a service entrance rated transfer switch & a main distribution panel there is an 8/inch long nipple connected to a LB, connected to a 2" long nipple then connected to the MDP. The total length of the nipples & LB is less than 24". Can I apply the 60% nipple fill rule to this? I am using 2 1/2 inch pvc schedule 40.

The area within the LB does not count so in effect you have two raceways an 8" and a 2" separated by a conduit body. So yes you may apply the 24"/60% rule to both nipples. However the LB may have it's own limitations.
