Nissan Leaf power station

Hi,
I am going to customer house this week to evaluate power charging station project for Nissan Leaf. I am not sure if they have L1 or L2 type yet.
Just wonder, are there any "special" requirements for installation? This will be in garage.
I think, I should also contact local Electrical board and ask. This is located in Raleigh, North Carolina.

I just want to make sure that I am in position to give them accurate estimate based on the local requirements ( inspection, labor, material...)

Any input, comment, advice is welcome!

Just did one for a Honda fit today. Customer had me run L1 and L2 Plugs because the car (with L1) was going to arrive before his L2 charger...Just to get some questions rolling, is the customer buying the station?

Hi,

Yes they are purchasing the charging unit. As far as the type, they are still deciding.
We talked about it briefly over the phone and it seems to me like they want to save $ on install.

Some utilities give a discounted rate for this which could mean a separate meter.
