NJ Adoption of AFCI's?

Does anyone known when NJ required AFCI's in new construction? I thought it was Oct. 2009.

It was part of the adoption of the 2008 NEC here is a site that gives you the date of the code adoptions. Remember that there is a six month grace period on top of this date that contractors could stay under the previus code. So you will see that the 2008 NEC was adopted 4/6/09 and the grace period would end 10/6/09.

Rick - Thank you - I thought October 2009 was the full implementation date.
