Has any of my colleagues in NJ ever used the services for temp labor from an agency? My insurance guy said there was an agency in Paramus or near where I could hire electricians for projects, they would provide all the insurance needed.

Re: NJ Contractors

I would talk to my attorney and my accountant first if I were you. If it all checks out, then it sounds like a good thing.

Re: NJ Contractors

A while back, I needed to dig some feeders in for an 8-unit mulit-family building. I decided to use some day labor as I was not able to obtain a trencher or back-hoe. The morning of the dig the 4 workers arrived, 4 males, 3 in their 20's or 30's and a man around 50 or so with one arm. This is no joke.

Before I could make a comment, he assured me he could out dig the other three guys all put together. And guess what....he did. As a matter of fact, he out dug me. He had an incredible technique for holding the shovel and using his body for leverage. I was quite impressed.

I know this doesn't help the topic starter with his question, but it reminded me of this funny situation. :D
