Hi all after more then a year long process , and failing it once today I finally passed and on my way to licencing

It's funny, I did the prep class and took the test and thought that I knew a lot that was until I started hanging around here. :)

Welcome to the world of electrical contracting. :thumbsup: Now you'll have to pay for your license, pay for your business permit, get liability insurance, get a truck, get insurance for the truck, get your truck lettered, get workers' comp insurance, get a phone # and an answering machine all before you land your first job. Then you'll have to go out and compete with all the other EC's who are cutting each other's throats for the jobs that are out there. And, don't forget - you have to pay taxes too.:eek:

That's the down side.:rant:

It gets a lot better once you're established. :happyyes::happyyes::happyyes:
