Anyone electricians install a 400 amp service in nj, if so who was the utility, PSE&G OR ATLANTIC/CONNECTIC. What did you use as a meterbase and did the utility approve it. I want to install a simple 400 amp combination unit made by ge, and milbank on 2 houses both are 400 amp and i want to know if i will hear any crap.

I have installed 2 - 200 amp main lug only panels already for both houses. The 200 amp breakers are on the outside of the home built into the meter center.
I have done these installs in FL years ago with no complaints but i know NJ is way behind on NEC codes and want things done sloppy with all kinds of unnecessary panels, ct's and disconnects on the side of the customers home. Any experiences pls let me know.
Thanks
