We're installing Acuity nLighting control panel 4 relays with digital time clock incorporated inside. This panel is controlling exterior lighting of surgery center. My question is:
Does this panel also need photocell to control exterior lighting of the building?
The submittals call for photosensor and I think it's no necessary because the programmable clock can make that function.
Thanks in advance for inputs in this matters

Do the plans or the specifications call for a photocell? This is often on a detail on the plans. If so, then yes. If so, the owner "paid" for it and it needs to be installed. Otherwise, no, it shouldn't be required, although some people will contend that during severe weather it gets pretty dark.

Thank you @Strathead and sorry for delay and yes the espec call for photosensor. The voltage is 277V to supply the power supply for the Acuity relay panel and the photosensor, my question at this point is can I feed both from the same dedicated circuit?
Where to connect the red wire from photosensor in the relay lighting control panel? Should be in serie with the digital time clock?
I'm sorry but the lighting relay panel was delivery without any wiring diagram and I try to figure it out how to make it function properly booth the DTC and the photosensor.
Is very appreciate some help because I don't have much experience with the combination DTC and photocell

I assume your lighting rep is Landreth. Contact your supplier and request startup. Acuity always includes startup on their lighting control panels to us. I actually have very recent experience with possibly the same situation. Is your panel an ARP series and if so, is your photocell a three wire or a CAT 5/6 cable hookup?
