If you want it to look technically correct,,,, go ahead and pull a 3/4" ko out of the panel,,,,, take your hacksaw and cut a slit in (1 of 2) 3/4" x 1/2" reducing washers,,,,, put your connector on the wire in the "wire coming into the panel orientation" and shove it up through the 3/4" hole,,,, take your reducing washer (with the slit in it) an curl it through the 3/4" opening until it is outside the panel and snap the connector into the outside reducing washer,,,, lower back into the hole until the outside reducing washer contacts the outside surface of the panel,,,, take the 2nd reducing washer (without the slit in it) and snap around the connector from the inside of the panel,,,, problem solved.
