NM Cable Exposed ? ?05? 334.15

Looks like NM cable (Romex) can be installed exposed at any height if it meets the criteria of ?05? 334.15 and the rest of Art 334.

I have a case in an office ceiling about 7+? above finish floor (no drop ceiling), the installer wants to route NM cable surface around an existing structural glue lamb. The only thing I see is bending radius 334.24. Am I missing something?

I would think 334.10(3) would prohibit such an install.

With this 334.15 Exposed Work really only applies to 1 & 2 family dwelling units and some multifamily dwellings?
