I found and old thread from 2017 on this, but did not have definitive answer. When installing multiple runs of NM Cable in a wall cavity, is there a specific requirement in the 2023 NEC on any max adjacent cables, or min spacing? Whether using staples with multiple cables beneath or the stackers that are available, in certain situations it seems unavoidable to have as many as 3 to 6 cables running up the same 2x in contact with each other in the wall that need to be secured. Article 334.80 specifies derating for two or more cables in contact with each other while in contact with insulation, caulk, or foam, but I don't see anything for derating in the absence of insulation, caulk, or foam. If no hard requirement, what is best practice?

There is no clear answer when there is not insulation, caulk, or foam involved. It kind of boils down to what maintain spacing means. IMO with something like stackers in the photo there is spacing between the conductors.
