Hello

I have a question about NM cable, Is there a code stating to how many cables you could pass through a bored hole in wood framming or any type of structure like metal with proper insulating gromets ?

That would depend solely on whether or not the hole contained a fire or draft stopping material. Without either, I agree with you.

he didn't say and from the way he was stating the question it appeared he was wanting to run it through studs, top or bottom plates or some type of glue lam or micro lamb.
