NM Uses

A question came up about the use of NM in multistory buildings. My 1993 book in 336-4 limits the use to three stories above grade. My 2002 book in 334.10(3) limits the use by structure construction classification. Can anyone tell me when it was changed?

I thought it changed in 2002- is there a vertical line in the column next to the art. in your 2002?
