I have a service call to replace a light on a deck.
I get there and the light is within the spa zone "no light"
I disable it and look for options.

What about low voltage? Anyone have a link for a lv wall sconce I can replace this with?
I was going to make a little nema3 box and gfi protect the line and then put a little led in the can and then some little led driven 12v sconce
Alternatlely I could try a segmented box at the switch and send a lovo switched line to thru the romex to the deck if I could separate it from the premise wiring.

(6) Low-Voltage Luminaires. Metal parts of the equipment must be bonded in accordance with 680.26(B); metal gas piping must be bonded in accordance with 250.140(B) and 250.26(B)(7). !lowvoltage spa lighting

from the commentary, it looks like any lovo garden light would do. the only thing is where to put the tx

Can you use this rule? It is hard to tell how close the tub is to the building

(3) Existing Installations. Existing luminaires and lighting
outlets located less than 1.5 m (5 ft) measured horizontally
from the inside walls of a pool shall be not less than 1.5 m
(5 ft) above the surface of the maximum water level, shall be
rigidly attached to the existing structure, and shall be protected
by a ground-fault circuit interrupter.

yeah, that would be great, but it is butt up against and like 3 foot from the water.
sucks, i know :/

no way to make that low voltage anyway cause i can't find any way to separate the class2 wiring from the 120v
