No EGC for Wadsworth fused sub panel

In the process of adding a branch ckt to an old Wadsworth fuse panel, I noticed that there was no feeder EGC or grounding terminal installed in the panel. I intend to install a grounding bar.
After checking the NEC, my understanding is that the EMT containing the panel feeder conductors is permitted to serve as the panel EGC.
Does this relieve the requirement to run an EGC w/the feeder?

Thanks

Yes, the EMT, assuming it is continuous and mechanically sound, can serve as the EGC for the feeder.

Thanks Charlie. A code reference always makes a response a lot more credible. I'm learning.....
