When I came to this Forum I posted and Replied My opinions and some valid code references. Also, some really "Stupid" ones too! I will never forget the OMG! debate that Bob aka. Iwire and I got into.....some thread on pigtails or maybe it was 312.8 but anyway Charlie B and Bob have tore me up over the past several months and it "pissed" me off as alot of others have but You all have made Me a more open minded Inspector and a more knowledgable Electrician. The reason I am posting this is I am headin to Fl. for awhile to work and let new members know to hang in this Forum, read the posts, study and learn..... Bob.......congrats on the 10k and thank ya'll...

Greg that was a very nice of you and good luck in FL.
What some may not know it is these very forums that have taught me much of what I know about the NEC.
I don't want to make a list of names as someone will be forgotten but there are many still here and some that have moved on that I have learned a lot from.
There was a member here named Bennie, he has passed away.
God could he infuriate me like no one else. :evil:
In the end he taught me to question the rules and why we do what we do.

I had the great honor of Bennie calling me at home before he passed.
He was one of the original moderators.
He used to get into discussions with Don G about =Separately Derived Systems. I'd like to go back and find those discussions. I think they were both correct. Bennie said the NEC terminology changed in the mid 50's
I too have benefited from the Forum. Those in the know in my classes use it.
