Hello all,
Just wondering how everyone else tackles these types of wire pulls...typically on control or fire alarm systems which specify no splices in any junction box--all in conduit. So let's assume we 've roughed in a main trunkline with junction boxes--each with several runouts to devices which the conductors/cables terminate. What method would you use to pull the bundle of cables out to each device. In the past we've measured each leg of the conduit as we rough-in, then cut all the conductors to length by adding up all the box-to-box runs and bundle them together. Then beginning at the controller can, we pull all the wire through the trunkline to the first box and pull out all the conductors which run-out to devices. Rebundle and pull the remaining wires to the second junction in the trunkline and repeat...This method has worked, but is really slow. Does anyone else do it differently?
Regards,
Scott
