For any addressable system I'm aware of, the heat detectors are largely a plastic body with a thermistor element in them. You still have some basic electronics in them though, so I don't know what effect the magnetic field will have on them.
Have you considered an aspirated smoke detection system, such as Xtralis' VESDA, Minimax's Helios, or System Sensor's FAAST? All the elements in the room are made out of plastic, and you can run the plastic pipe to a shielded/safe location to the detector. As a bonus, you get waaaaay earlier detection for a fire, or even a well done electronics board.
