non fused clearances

I had an inspector call me on the clearance of a existing fused disconnect. My choices to fix were move disconnect or change to a non fused. Doesnt a non fused disconnect still require clearance.

the code says not likely to require . . ., not that you would never have to do it.

anyway, kind of makes sense to me (?)

Checking for voltage is "Examining the equipment while energized" IMO, so for me the fused VS non-fused for the required working clearance is a non-issue, I believe that both require the working space specified in 110.26(A).
