I'm looking for code that allows the use of a non-gfci 120v or 240v dedicated receptacle in remote telecom enclosures. We need to eliminate the gfci nuisance tripping for battery chargers. We will continue to have a gfci for personnel to use for their portable equipment.

Thank you for your help!

I think you need to start by looking at the article that you believe invokes a GFCI requirement in your installation. If there’s an exception, that’s where it will be.

If the receptacle is inside the enclosure I don't see that it needs GFCI protection.

What portable equipment is commonly used that isn't probably already battery powered?
