Non Metallic Floor Box in Health Care Facility

I will be installing floor boxes in a Chiropractic office. According to 517.13 wiring method has to be in metal raceway or sheath.
I was planning on using PVC schedule 40 to a non metallic floor box in the concrete slab.
Would this be in violation of 517.13?
If so would it be acceptable to pull HCF mc in the PVC but I don't know how I would terminate the jacket for redundant ground

Seemingly you have identified the problem yourself with the HCF termination. In addition, if it's a ground level slab the interior of the PVC would be a wet location and the HCF, if usable, would need to be jacketed.

That is interesting. I did a Chiropractor office a few years ago and that was the first thing the inspector ask, "you are using HCF mc right?" which I did. I will check with the AHJ. I would think if they are using electrical devices to treat patients it would be considered a Health Care Facility.
