Folks:

AFAIK, non-metallic liquid tight is not allowed outdoor for over 6 ft due to physical damage risk, unless AHJ determines that flexibility needs can not be met some other way. With that, I have an academic question:

What if the 1" non-metallic liquid tight from the outdoor HVAC unit goes underground 20" within one ft of run and after running for 27' it emerges out above grade and runs for 6" before terminating on a NEMA4 J/Box?

The conduit carries, #8x2 (red&black) and #8 ground and energized with 240V AC. The shielded 24V travels in the separate tubing that carries the insulated line set.

Would this be a permitted application?
Much appreciate your comments.
