I am attempting to get a Maritime Electrician picked up by our college.

Does any one know the AHJ for maritime issues? Is it the US Coast Guard? Is the a Federal code book for electricians?
 
Commercial ships often use ABS. Which is frustrating because it’s all very vague. “Small” yachts also have their own industry standard Code. Yes Coast Guard enforces but maritime is not as straight forward.
