A panel feeds a 12 by 12 fiberglass box with 3 1" EMT conduits. The conduits leave the box in PVC.

Do I need to use bond bushings as required in 314.3 or does the connection to the panel provide the bond?

Re: Nonmetallic Box

I believe the code on 314.3 exception 2 is stating that if you use conduit or any other metal raceway from one nonmetallic box to another nonmetallic box you shall use bonding bushing. If one of the boxes are metallic, then the lock nuts will take of the bonding. 314.3 exception 1.
I really like this Forum. The knowledge
that is shared through other "sparkies" is priceless. "Thanks Mike."
P.S. Always tighten your lock nuts.

Re: Nonmetallic Box

Exception No. 1 requires internal bonding means between ALL entries.

Is there a code section that permits the panel to serve as the bonding means?
