Does anyone know if North dakota changed the masters test layout when they changed the qualifications last March?

I've had reliable sources tell me that the ND test has some things on it that are unique to ND and their way of doing things. As you may know, they write and proctor their own test, as opposed with most others now days that use one of the national exam companies. I'll be in SD this week for CEU class and there are always ND boys there. I'll check with them for you.
I note you are from WA. Do you by chance have any feed back on Montana master exam?

Sorry, I don't know anything about the Montana test. That would be appreciated if you would ask around about the North Dakota test. Thanks

North Dakota does have their own wiring standards and they are available at www.ndseb.com. under "Laws & Rules". These are mostly covered on the Journeyman's exam but there are some things from the State Electrical Laws that pertain to contractors only that are on the Master's test.

As I mentioned, I was in South Dakota last week for CEU class. The word I get from the guys there that have done the North Dakota masters is that you must know their state rules (downloadable) and amendments to the NEC. One example thet gave me was small appliance circuits-they require 3 and wired a certain way. The admin rules I'm told they test you verbally and sort of coach you. I'm licensed in SD and the SD test is all NEC and they have reciprocity with ND, although I do not have a ND license. If you want to go to a great exam prep course check with Stve Arne in SD. He is very good and well known. If you have any other questions, just send me a PM.

PS: Nobody was sure if there have been any changes.
