Aloha All,
I have a question that maybe someone on here can help me with. Review on events leading up to this situation. I worked for 2 companies with 2 different journeyman for a total of about 4 years (maybe longer). I just completed my schooling for my 240hrs need to take test. I havent worked for them since Nov. 15th. I have asked both Journeyman to supply me with my notarized hours. Unfortunately my leaving the other company didn't go well I gave them a notice and they told me to leave abruptly that day and that they would get me my hours (canceled my insurance and everything already). My livelyhood depends on it as I have people wanting me to do work for them. I don't know how many hours I have but probably close to 8,000 hours is my guess. I figure I can atleast get my 80 maintenence electrician card and do the work for the people that are waiting. Seems like they are letting it drag and taking there time getting me my hours. Is there a certain amount of time within they have to provide me with these things? I have texted them both multiple times already asking for these hours. If anyone has any insight that would help me greatly appreciated!!

(Already got business set up, 2m insurance coverage, all of this just waiting on hours for testing)

I would get in the car and head down to their office. But they might not have a notary. Maybe you have them sign stating your hours then you have the whole package notarized.

Is there a construction board you can call for help.
There has to be an alter method if they won't sign.
Hate to say this word, Lawyer.

Thank you guys for your insight! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being unreasonable. They said they were going to supply me with my hours before they took me off of insurance and everything, but it didnt happen that way. I know they have a master because he was the one I was working under.

I'm sure I will be posting more questions along my journey 🤙🏼 thanks in advance for all the shared knowledge.

I don't think it will come to that. Atleast I hope not they are just dragging thier feet giving excuses when I call and ask for them that they are too busy. I printed out the hours notarization form signed and handed it to both of them I feel I'm being as cooperative as possible.

I agree with @Buck Parrish . I would get in the car and drive over there. I am an old timer. In this day and age texts and e-mails are a great way to communicate but they see this as not a priority and its easy for them to blow you off.

I wouldn't be demanding or nasty (yet) you just want them to comply. Try to have them do it then and there (maybe they can't) but i would want a date and time from them when you can stop buy and pick it up
