What is the country of origin?

I worked on an Australian job for a couple years. Really screwed me up. Phases were red, white, and blue. Neutral was black.

Jamaica is the same, but most people wiring under british or usa wires so you always need to test.. appliances come in like that we wire as labelled and pray.

I love it when a good electrician wired the place originally.. with a label in the panel stating wire colors followed.. if using British wires, everything taped with color tape to the Jamaican colors or shrink stuff on them in Jamaican colors on the ends yet you can tell the original wire colors as well...lol
One electrician, currently dead, unfortunately, from cancer... but was a great guy full of laughs, insisted on wrapping a tape of USA color and UK color on each wire.. just so no one would be confused... you could see all the colors at once...

the bane of our trade.....~RJ~

Bane? They make it easy, for one their HID lamps already come with with the ballast pre-built into the bulb. No expensive, bulky, heavy ballast to burn up with capacitor that leaks or igniter that fails in 5-10 years. Stuff made else where is just to expensive or complex.
