I was just perusing the McMaster-Carr website and found that they carry conduit bodies in both NPSM and NPT. The NPSM bodies are in aluminum and available with and without a set screw. The NPT bodies are zinc-plated iron or stainless. My understanding has always been it wasn't really kosher to connect a rain-tight EMT connector to a conduit body as the connector is straight threaded and the CB is tapered, but it looks like MC has them available for this purpose. That said, even their site lists both as being for IMC/RMC and not EMT. Also, McMaster being McMaster, there's no easy way to figure out who actually makes these short of ordering them.

Anyone have thoughts on this? Putting together a project where the inspectors will be sticklers and trying to decide if we need to bite the bullet for IMC/RMC.
