Hello, I was wondering if anyone has advice on really good sources of information on the proper planning and installation of fire alarm systems. I have NFPA 72. I am a journeyman electrician with limited experience in fire alarms systems. I would like to accelerate my learning with as much accurate and up to date info I can get. I would appriciate any input. Thanks.

Brown Book is a good start. Also invest in the Red book, NFPA 101, and the NICET Handbook. Oh and NFPA 70. This will get you on track. More references will be needed later in the NICET process.
