do we calculate florescent lighting and High pressure sodium lighting at a 125%? continuous on both? warehouse lighting and parking lot lighting? Trying to figure minimum number of circuits.......
That said if I design lighting circuits I usually shoot for about 10-12 amps on each 20 amp circuit initially . That leaves some headroom to add lights to the circuits if needed.
I agree. These units will inevitably be on for more than 3 hours so 125% is needed. That means a 20 amp circuit can't be loaded more than 16 amps but as Bob stated 12 amps or so is a better design
