I have 400 amp single phase service for a single family dwelling where the meter is out by the pole approximately 125 feet from the house. Two 200amp service entrance rated transfer switches were installed on the same structure as the meter (back to back) and two separate raceways were installed to the house underground into two separate 200 amp panels with main breakers is this a code compliant installation

I would say no. 225.30 only allows one feeder to a building, unless you meet one of the conditions it describes. I don't think your example fits into any of the exceptions.

By the way, did you mean "transfer switches" or "disconnect switches"?

+1

BTW Charlie, service-rated transfer switches have integral service disconnecting means and OCP.

Doesn't article 225.30 apply to multiple buildings it says more than one building

Not sure what you are trying to say. You have only one building.

225.30 Number of Supplies.
A building or other structure that is served by a branch circuit or feeder on the load side
of a service disconnecting means shall be supplied by only
one feeder
or branch circuit unless permitted in 225.30(A)
through (E). For the purpose of this section, a multiwire
branch circuit shall be considered a single circuit.

I have included such things in several designs. But the original wording of the question didn't mention a generator, so it made me think these were mere disconnects.

AFAIK as long as the sections of building are partitioned with suitable fire walls (including fire doors if connecting) the AHJ can consider them to be separate buildings for the purpose of those rules.

And there is no limit to the number of feeders from one part of the building to another, just the number of external feeders supplying power from somewhere else.

Can, but not likely at least in my area.

One 'building' one feeder unless it fits one of the allowances.
