Number of Receptacle-Commercial Building

Is there any rule of thumb to calculate the number of receptacles and Light fixtures needed in case of Commercial buildings?
How many receptacles needed for 50,000 sq ft office building?:?

Read through 210 part III. 210.52 applies only to dwellings so skip over that.

The requirement for receptacles in a non dwelling is fairly limited and besides the need for one near service equipment, one near heating and cooling equipment and requirements for show windows, most everything else is dependent on having equipment that requires a receptacle.

Lighting outlet requirements is pretty limited as well, about all that is required is attics and crawlspaces with equipment requiring servicing.

An office is going to have different needs however then a warehouse for light and power even if they are same size.
