Can you get a hold of a copy of the NEC Handbook?

Following 230.2, in the Handbook explanatory text, there are 12 different exhibits with graphics illustrating a whole lot of variations. An example is:
Exhibit 230.7 One service. One service lateral consisting of six sets of conductors 1/0 AWG or larger, terminating in a single service equipment enclosure with maximum of six service disconnecting means.
From the limited description you've supplied, it sounds like yours might apply.

I belive that this is 2 services the rule in 230.40 says separate loads now what defines separate loads this sounds like same loads for the same building any thoughts??

If we could only take servics and grounding out of the Code, I might understand it :D

kd, I'll jump in with you. As I see it, you have no problem because of the wording of 230.2. One day someone may explain to me why that applies to underground service laterals and not overhead conductors also.
