I have an outside feeder going to one location with a total of eight pump panels. All SUSE and all are outside. Six involved in one process are hard wired. (Arguably one structure.) Two in another process serve cord & plug connected equipment because they are movable and temporary in nature. The customer wants to add a third seasonal cord and plug connected piece of equipment. (30 HP)

Do I, somehow, need to reduce the # of disconnects? Options?

It seems to be somewhat commonplace in many industrial settings I've viewed and someone may see an exception I don't, but it appears to be a violation if 225.33

That would make it different locations.
Now I'm curious..
If you have 1 structure split down the middle (with appropriate fire rated separation) it would be classified as 2 buildings, allowing for 6disconnects+6 disconnects=12 disconnects.

Say you have 1 building and you need up to 12 disconnects. Could you build a 5Wx5Lx9H attached space on the end of the building (building is defined as enclosed space with roof and walls). Make sure fire separation is in place on the 1 joining wall?
