NuTone Broan Bathroom Wall Heater Cover Melting???

I’ve had a NuTone wall heater in each of my bathroom for many years, but seldom use them. The reason is that the plastic heater cover vents sag and melt at the hot air outlet. I’ve replaced the NuTone covers with some from Broan but still have the same problem. Any experience/thoughts?
