VX1000c power unit, CH615 hose. All nutone's pictures and guides online just seem to be copied and pasted. I'm having trouble making sure I order the correct inlet plate. So I think I need the CI390 inlet plate that provides the 120volt power for the hose and power head, but I don't see anywhere for the low voltage "run" contacts that automatically turn on the power unit? Not sure if i missed something?

Nutone seems to be conservative in handing out the LV wiring hookups. According to an earlier install spec sheet the VX1000c power unit and ch615 non-crush hose utilizes an intergral wall inlet plate #360 series component that has built in LV terminals. The plate is compatible with the Nutone CI390 series inlets which automatically energize the circuit when the hose is plugged in.

The instruction graphics show open spliced joints taped along the pvc vacuum tubing but no terminal hookup details. (rev. 02/08)

the #360 has the lv contacts, the metal ring on the hose actually closes the circuit. But the #360 doesn't power the hose or brush head.

Correct. The separate ac to the power head is switch controlled according to the spec sheet I have. That would use an electrified CH620 direct connect hose though...which uses a CI390 series ElectraValve electrified inlet (120v/24v) only.
