NYC CONVERTING TO NEC

I SELL ELECTRICAL AND LIGHTING TO NYC. MOST OF MY SUPPLYS AREN'T NYC APPROVED. WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS OF NYC CONVERTING OVER TO NEC, AND WHERE CAN I GET INFORMATION SUPPORTING THIS CONVERSION.

It is wonderful that NYC has adopted the 1999 NEC with amendments.

They will soon amend the 2002 NEC.
Your equipment still must be listed with an MEA # to be used in NYC. Listing is still the same mumbo jumbo to get that listing. The ole boys club must exist in some fashion to mess with the public.
