anyone familiar of any special licensing (aside from a NYC EC license) that is required for installing PV systems in NYC?

are there any special PV licenses? GC? I heard a rumor that there was a required Con Ed course, anyone familiar?
 
NYSERDA certs are necessary to obtain rebates and for permitting approvals in most cases, NABCEP certified installers are given priority over non NABCEP certified contractors by NYSERDA, not too sure bout the con ed thing..... have done a handful of residential installs in Rockaway.
