Obtaining Journeyman License in FL

There is no state level Journeyman's, talk to the county (sometimes even city, but not usually) where you reside.

I would suggest that if you are going to go to the trouble of obtaining a journeyman's license (which is only good in the county that issued it), you just pull out all the stops and get your EC which is the state master's license and is good in all counties.

Hello Alan,
I asume you live in the Venice Florida area which is right up the road from me. To obtain a J-mans license in Sarasota County, you will need to complete this application:

Give the licensing office a call at 861-6126 for more information.
If you find yourself in the North Port area anytime in the future, come see me in the building department at City Hall.
