oil tank & panel

i'm doing a rehab and the oil tank is beside the panel
is there (i thought it was 5ft) any restrictions on how close it can be
without being in front of it?

Normal working space. 36" x 30" floor to ceiling

Nothing special. As long as you maintain the normal clearances it should be OK.

town fd wants 10ft but there isnt that much cause it'll be into the furnace and that i thinks is 5ft from the tank min..
