old 2 wire house not knob and tube

anyone know how to bring a two wire system up to code without rewiring the house or adding a grounding circuit.
the panel is in the basement and it is finished. the service has a ground system but none of the wiring has a ground.
any input is welcome

You can't.
You can do some things like add GFCI's. If the existing wiring is sound just leave it alone. Add new circuits, compliant with current code, where needed or wanted.
