I'm trying to figure out what tandems I can use in this panel and whether I can use the 'skinny' GE single pole breakers. I don't think GE makes actual tandems (twins) anymore. I've dealt with GE panels before but this one is older and has me a little stumped. See pic.

Based on this label would you think that the THQP line of half-size GE breakers would fit in the tandem spots?

Is a BR a replacement for a TR?

A BR breaker is definitely NOT a listed replacement.

You best bet would be to contact a breaker shop to purchase used TR breakers. The last time I sold all the used breakers I collected the guy at the breaker shop almost started drooling when he saw I had old GE tandems. I guess they are in big demand and not very many of them around.

THQP breakers will not fit. They require a special buss connection that old load centers did not have.

How many tandems do you need and what size. I can look to see if I have collected any recently.
