It just means you can use a 15 amp GFCI on a 20 amp circuit, and have 20 amps worth of real load on the load side of the 15 amp GFCI without blowing up the GFCI. The 15 amp rating on a GFCI essentially just is in regard to the face of the device. Otherwise, it's 20 amps worth of sturdy.zappy said:never heard of this?
