Anyone ever replaced the main breaker on an old QO panel that looked like this?

Can it be done without working on the meter side, on the other side of that partition to the left? This throwing me for a loop on this project.

There is likely a "hold down" clamp inside the meter compartment side as well as the supply lugs of the breaker would need accessed from the meter compartment side just to be able to remove that breaker.

They don't make that style breaker anymore (that fits all the way across both "sides" of the panel)

Replacement is either going to be some old/refurbished breaker from some breaker supply house or the current QO2125, possibly with VH suffix if you need high interrupt rating. That breaker only fits on one "side" of the panel - you would still place the lugs inside the meter side of the enclosure and hopefully there is a hold down clamp on that side as I mentioned before, as the one you can see on the right side will no longer hold anything down with the new style breaker.
