This is a 120v DC switchboard from the 1930s ship "firefighter" it served NYC since the 30s until its recent retirement. It pumped thousands of gallons of water to the WTC site on 911. Throughout its history it saved the lives of many sailors around the area.

Very cool. I love those knife switches, still wonder what the heck they were thinking when they designed stuff like that!
