Oldest version of the NEC you have found a jurisdiction still using?

I'm just curious, what's the oldest version of the NEC you still see a jurisdiction using? I found one still on the 2008. Hawaii back when they allowed counties to set their own NEC version had some oldies but now it's set state wide to the latest. That was always fun.

Thanks for the info. The oldest I have run into recently is 2008. I have no doubt that somewhere in the US there is an AHJ with a worn copy of the 1996 NEC in their car that they like to whip out to make a point about the old days. I have a PDF copy of the 1897 NEC I like to refer to on occasion. :)

Ahh the good old 2008 NEC. What a simpler time that was. Cheeseburgers were 25 cents, gas was 45 cents, the cop would give you a ride home of you were driving drunk, fresh milk was delivered to your door, the NFPA hadn't lost it's mind yet...🥲
You're thinking pre '74-75 with those prices.
