The project consists of a single 200 amp 240 volt 1phase service mounted on a temporary modular building. Next to this building are four temporary portable metal storage containers. The four temporary portable storage containers are positioned 12" apart from each other and the temporary modular building.
Each of the temporary portable storage containers will have an exterior sub panel with 3 branch circuits fed with a feeder from the 200 amp service located on temporary modular building.
My question is: Can these 5 structures use the same grounding electrode system provided for the electrical service, as opposed to installing two ground rods for each of the four additional structures? The way I read 250.32(A) (2017 NEC), it does not specifically indicate that each building or structure must an individual grounding electrode system. Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
