I told the irrigation guy he could use a spare 2" I had under the parking lot. This is not what I had in mind. We don't use PVC cleaner before glue as I don't expect my installs to be under pressure. I see a nice Fla sink hole in the future.

Also haven't looked yet but a feel this might effect my final as I have 4 like this.

Like I always say it's not electrical conduit until you pull in wire.

Maybe the inspector will let you put in a divider like when you have power and signal cables in the same box.

Interesting. So when you do under ground inspections do you ask what will be pulled in the conduit?

300.5 col 5 says nothing about what will be in that conduit. Yet 725.3 says 300.5 doesn't apply?

most of the irrigation hand holes have low voltage solenoid control wiring. It should'nt be much of a problem. If your pipe is used for water pressure, a simple air pressure test would tell if it'll hold.Ah but yours is'nt low voltage.

It's not a big issue for me Jim, its just one of those,

"Just when you think you have seen it all"

kind of things.

i wonder what the plumbing inspector will have to say about the pvc electrical conduit being used for water...

Being from Washington State very seldom do we pull wire in a dry pipe UG conduit. I don't know where the water comes from but a lot of times the conduit is almost full. The ends are taped and there can't be that much condensation. It has to be coming from the joints. If water can get in, I am sure it can get out. I don?t think there is anyway this conduit is NOT going to leak.
